If you're looking for resources, information and tools to help improve your job search success, The Job Bank is the place to go! We have books, pamphlets and employment related materials for your use. We also have 30 personal computers with a range of software to assist you in your job search. Need to create a resume/cover letter? Come on in and take a look at what we have to offer. Free access to a fax and copy machine.

Hosts professional workshops on topics that keep you ahead of the crowd: Interviewing, Networking to Find Employment, Money Management, Resume Preparation and much more.

You can view lists of hundreds of available job openings in the Job Bank's catalog racks or you can view job openings online @ GreaterDaytonWorks.com. The Job Bank has 30 computers where you browse a multitude of job listing and career resource sites throughout the state, country and world.

Special Programs through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA):

The Job Center offers many free services to individuals that meet certain eligibility guidelines. Services can include funds for training (books, tuition, lab fees, small tools and equipment), individual career guidance and counseling, labor market information, relocation assistance, skill upgrades and more. You may qualify for these programs if you meet specific income guidelines and are in one or more of the following categories: Unemployed/Underemployed, Older Worker (age 55 or better), Disabled Individuals, Low Income Youth (ages 14 - 21), and Veterans.
