What if I need additional training to get a job?
Many people require additional training before they can land their next job.  Depending on your situation, you may qualify for training assistance through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Click here for more information about WIA.

Do your services cost me any money?
The majority of our employment and training services are provided at no cost to you. Although, some training programs and support services require your contribution because the tuition is more than our training cap.

How long will it take to help me find a job?
The Job Bank is not a “job placement” agency.  We provide the tools and information to help you succeed in your job search.  Every individual is different. Some require more time than others to find the "right job".

How do you file for unemployment in the State of Ohio?
You can file for unemployment benefits by telephone or online.  Click here for information on how to apply and what you will need to apply.

Does your organization help customers develop a resume?
The Job Center’s Job Bank provides assistance with resumes in the form of resume development workshops and the use of the computers to create your resume as well as resume software.  However, we do not write or type the resume for customers.

Can I do job search related activities without visiting the Job Center?
As an alternative to visiting the Job Center, you can explore our website and navigate through the links provided which lists many of the areas of interests for job seekers.
