Job Center Today

The mission of the Job Center is to serve as a resource for labor-market exchange and workforce development while providing individuals and families with financial, medical, and other support services essential to strengthening the quality of life.
- The Job Center in Montgomery County, Ohio, is the largest one-stop employment and training center in the United States. This public/private partnership is made up of forty plus organizations housed in an eight and a half acre facility.
- The Center has been internationally recognized for its ability to bring employers, educators, and social service agencies together to deal with workforce development issues.
- The forty plus organizations, led by the center manager, Joyce King Gerren, forms a partnership that enables decisions to be made in a collaborative manner.
- The half million customers coming to the Job Center each year provide thousands of local employers access to a large pool of skilled and professional workforce. That in turn gives a job seeker access to thousands of job postings at one site... the Job Center.
